Great Travel Moment

It was my last night in Paris and, filled with that longing that Paris instills in your heart, I kept walking late into the evening, hoping that time would linger with me and give me a few extra moments to bid adieu to this marvelous city. The Louvre had been a major goal, a childhood dream, now fulfilled, etched forever in my mind?s eye with images to be called up whenever the longing bubbled to the surface amid my daily routines, unbidden and unapologetic, as I knew it would. This photo captures the essence of my Paris experience. The deep blue sky, painted with vibrant, living colors; the pyramid, enduring, yet transparent, focusing the eye on eternity; and the distant Ferris wheel, with its promise of adventure and a life well-lived.
