Great Travel Moment

My family and I had never been to the Galapagos Islands and we were most excited to see the albatross. After days of traveling from island to island, we had run out of luck - until finally, on our last day, nearly all of us spotted an albatross at once. As our group descended on the cliff it was perched on to take in the amazing bird, I stood back to take in the scene: my family, explorers at heart, filled with excitement from their discovery. If we all blown away by this moment, I can only imagine what explorers thought when they first came across this archipelago centuries ago.
