Great Travel Moment

Imagine every travel nightmare rolled into one trip - that was our travel experience going from our wedding in Virginia to our honeymoon in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. A cancelled flight, a lost reservation on the rescheduled flight, twelve hours stuck in a tiny Virginia airport, an unplanned (and expensive) night in a Mexico City hotel, and then - when we finally arrived a day late - no bags. All that, plus a throbbing broken toe received while dancing with my new husband the night before! When we got to the resort - grimy, exhausted, and stressed - the friendly staff pointed us straight to the beach. When we plopped ourselves down on the chairs and felt the sun (and the margaritas) start to sink in, we began to realize what an incredible place we were in. This picture was merely the start to what turned into an unbelievably wonderful week.
