Great Travel Moment

I was travelling with two friends and we had a very limited knowledge of the Italian language that we attempted to use as much as possible. We had gotten directions to a museum in Florence, but got lost trying to find our way back to a restaurant we wanted to try. It was around sunet and we had been wandering what seemed like aimlessly for about an hour. We argued a bit on where we were and how to get back, when exhausted we all sat down on the steps of a little church and realized that straight ahead was the most beautiful view we had ever seen. Travelling does that to you. It makes you re-examine what is beautiful. At that moment, the church, the sunset, my two friends, these things together made me truly appreciate the beauty of getting utterly lost in such an incredible city. (Oh and we did eventually find the restaurant. We were only a few blocks away from it.)
