Great Travel Moment His name he said was George, and his english, although soken with a British accent was perfect. He was our guide through his village. He was very proud of the traditions of his people. The large herd of goats, sheep, and cattle grazed in the distance always watched over by tall men. He showed us where they are trying to return trees to a part of their land. Trees are always in danger due to the grazing of the elephants. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is carefully protected by these nomadic people and their herds. My respect for these people is huge and I would love to return and enjoy the animals. |
