Great Travel Moment Two girlfriends and I took a road trip through southern South Korea for our one week of summer vacation. We fled Seoul in the middle of the night to avoid the nightmare that is Korean highway when the entire country has vacation time all at once. Only knowing the city's hustle and bustle of 13 million people packed in tight, I was anxious to experience the opposites that the countryside had to offer. After driving through the night, our only licensed driver pulled over at a rest stop to do so. Having been soundly asleep in the back seat, I got out to stretch and witness the silent night turn to day. As it did, this spectacular image of the bridge displayed itself. "The Land of the Morning Calm" in all it's glory. |
