Great Travel Moment We had a family reunion in the Annapolis Valley which brought together family from all across Canada. It was the first time we had all been together in years. We went for a walk along the shore to explore the area and as we descended over the bank to walk the beach on the lovely sunny evening, we saw the beauty of the mist hanging in the Bay. What made it appealing to us is that Morden, NS is not a booming tourist area, nor is the beach one that is frequented by many but the locals and, aside from the reunion being held in an adjacent community, it is not an area that we would have ever thought to visit. It just proves that sometimes your greatest memories (and most beautiful snapshots) take place in the most obscure areas....not necessarily in those places designed for photo opps. |
