Great Travel Moment

We were walking through the Cloud Forest in Monteverde, Costa Rica when we came across this hollow tree. Our guide informed us that another tree was growing over it and killing the one underneath. It reminded me of one of my favorite books when I was a kid about mythical creatures who lived inside a tree. I thought back to my childhood fantasy of being a fairy and living in the forest. I had to see the inside so I squeezed through the small opening in the trunk. It sounded like a good idea at the time until I was standing in a plethora of spider webs. On the other hand, I was rewarded with a rare glimpse of the inside of a tree and fond memories of my childhood.
