Great Travel Moment

What a special day that was! My boyfriend surprised me and took me to Monterey Bay in California. It was such a fun day of kayaking in the ocean and getting to see sealions and otters up close. The day of outdoor activity was followed by a walk on the beach and a dinner of wine cheese. We stayed at this little beach resort where you had to drive your golf cart to your room. Our suite was right on the beach overlooking the ocean and sand dunes. It I can still smell the ocean and hear the waves. The best is waking up and hearing the motion of the sea. It is one of our favorite places to visit and we've been back many times.
