Great Travel Moment

In the Sacred Valley of Peru, we were surrounded with striking views and imagery at every turn. Our hotel Manager became our friend and perfect guide on several day trips. He showed us his land in such a special way, taking us to remote places, avoiding tourists, and providing tidbits of information and history all along the way. As we drove along the dirt roads one day, this stunning sight in the photo slowly came into view. I couldn?t imagine a nicer place to be a donkey. The donkeys set against the grand Andes Mountains, so close to the heavens, provided such a spiritual moment and just seemed to put everything in perspective. When I need a taste of that simple, peaceful perspective, I pull up this image and go back to this heart-warming place. My husband, son, and I all hope to go back again soon!
