Great Travel Moment On Memorial Day weekend my husband and I traveled from the East Coast to the Napa Valley to attend the wedding of the son of my administrative assistant. It was an especially happy occasion, as my assistant has worked for me for over a quarter of a century. In that time I watched her son grow from a toddler to a wonderful young man who now lives and works in Northern California. While in the Valley my husband and I visited the Catella di Amorosa winery that is an authentic reproduction of a Tuscan castle, with every stone imported from Italy. While many of its rooms were quite grand, it was the small corking room that captured my eye. Except for those of the bride and groom at their wine-cave wedding the next day, this is my favorite of the many pictures we took on that magical trip. |
