Great Travel Moment

After six years of dating my husband and I got married in April 2007. Our honeymoon was also our first vacation together - a trip to Amsterdam. We saved every spare penny we could - which wasn't easy since I was still in college, but we worked two jobs a piece to pay for the wedding and the honeymoon. We knew we wanted to go to Europe, and Amsterdam was the least expensive location we could find (flights, hotels, etc.). This picture is special to me because it is the view from the first hotel we stayed in together. It is an image that represents all the hard work - and team work! - that had to be done to get to that point. I savor every detail of this trip - the tulips, the museums, the food, the city itself, and all the wonderful people we met. I do not know when we will get to travel again, but the memories from this vacation will last a lifetime.
