The Royal Myconian Resort Hotel on the quiet side of the island of Mykonos was a vacation that stimulated all the the senses. From the moment you step into the lobby where hundreds of candles are lit with a faint scent of vanilla you are embraced with sights, sounds and scents that bring you to a different state of mind. The notorious winds of Myconos are soft and cooling near the beautiful pools, one salt water and the other fresh. The music they play at the pool transports you and you know you are on a vacation in another world. A short walk away and you are at the beach, where the water is perfectly clear and so refreshing you have never felt more alive. This was one of those perfect travel experiences...
