Great Travel Moment

Montego Bay, Jamaica / March 8, 2007 While sunbathing on the beach at a fancy resort in Jamaica, the last thing we expected to see was this horse and rider appear from nowhere. The astonished look on the hotel guests' faces was so comical. Everyone's mouths dropped open in surprise as the horse galloped around the beach and then bounded into the ocean for a swim ! It turned out that this was an impromptu demonstration to promote a local horseback ride-and-swim excursion. We were so intrigued that we participated the very next day, and it was thrilling…the high point of our vacation ! This photo captured completely the awe and fascination we all felt at seeing the“Sea Horse” for the first time, and is evocative of our most humorous travel moment.
