Great Travel Moment

Jemaa el Fina in Marrakech is an exhausting carnival of sights, sounds and smells. At dusk it is magical as rows of kitchens set up their tables, braziers and benches under gas lamps. You can sample goats-head soup, grilled fresh vegetables, chickens, fish and lamb. For me it encapsulated all the differences, color, energy and intrigue of being a visitor in a foreign land.
