Africa is at its most magical when the light is just coming up or going down. We were coming back from safari somewhere in the Masai Mara. It was dusk and a mixed group of animals were peacefully gathered. You could almost hear them saying"goodnight" to each other before going their separate ways. It brought to mind the painting"The Peaceable Kingdom". Africa is many things including the birthplace of humanity perhaps in a setting such as this.If only we could put the peaceful feeling in a bottle and carry it with us all. Having the photo brings me back to that time of"Africa Light" and reminds me of the peaceful gathering that I wish for all.
