This is one of many bridges in this beautiful medieval city. This photo was taken after a croissant and an espresso in the early morning before the city rose for the day. This was our first trip to Europe in the wintertime and our first trip to Belgium. I wanted to go to Brussels but my partner made us change our plans to go to Bruges instead.The first thing we noticed was Christmas decorations everywhere, which seemed strange since it was February. I know we keep our Christmas lights up on the house a little late in the year, but this was pretty extreme. After talking to the locals, we discovered that we were on location for a movie being filmed called“In Bruges” starring Colin Farrell. This made our visit to this wonderful city even more memorable!
