Great Travel Moment

After visiting many temples, castles, museums, etc., we decided we needed a little bit of pop culture. Turning on the TV in our hotel room one night, we saw the most amazing things. From game shows to the local news to anime to what we can only assume was Japan's Funniest Videos, we were completely entranced. From that forward for the rest of our vacation, we'd start the day with the local news, trying to decipher what the weather would be for the day. Even when the forecast was for rain, it always put us in a good mood!
