Great Travel Moment The scent and sounds of Bali, the people and the peaceful love they carry for life is forever burned on my soul, but I could never adequately give away what they have freely given to me. The best I could do is say that Bali is'The Island of the Gods' and indeed a step closer to heaven. While guest of the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay we had the opportunity to visit Uluwatu Temple and watch the daily performance of the Kecak dance. The mesmerizing chanting and movement tell a powerful story of star-crossed lovers and the balance between positive and negative..Any vacation to Bali is not complete without taking in an enchanting Balinese dance performance. It is an unique art that has been passed down for many generations. With the changing world locals fear the loss of this art form and are working very hard to reinvigorate the younger generation to ensure it's survival. |
