Great Travel Moment

Honestly, I was shocked at first! I entered our water villa, walked around taking pictures, and then walked in the bathroom. A glass floor in front of the toilet! Oh my gosh. I loved it. During the night, the resort turns lights on under each of the water villas. So, if you have a mid-night water break, well, it's a seat with a view. One night, I walked in and there was a 6 foot green eel swimming underneath. Amazing. Another night, as dusk approached, a sting ray swam under. Usually in the mornings, there were parrot fish or cod. Friends came to visit the last few days I was at Anantara. Later when they gave me a copy of their holiday photographs, I laughed, noticing that they, too, had taken pictures of the toilet, with the glass floor in front of it.It appears that the W in the Maldives has a similar concept, although their glass floors are reported to be in the bedroom and shower. I hope to find out soon!
