Great Travel Moment The first evening when my friend and I arrived in Marrakech, we headed down to the main square, Djemaa el Fna. From a long distance we could see bright lights and lots of smoke from the food vendors. As we got closer, we were surrounded by people, cars, bikes, horses. Maybe it was the jet lag, but my brain just couldn't take it all in. Locals and tourists were enjoying cous cous, watching street performers, or just mingling - interrupted by the occasional motor scooter. |
