Great Travel Moment I love this mosque. I can't enter it; I'm a woman, and my friends said that this one is for men only. But, standing outside, it is peaceful. You can feel the harmony, perhaps in the beauty of the bougainvilleas hovering over the entry way, perhaps in the balance of the architecture. Or perhaps in the knowledge that for whatever it is, it is a place of worship. Even if not mine, it is a place where others can go to find solitude and connection. |

Hey Julia I am going to use your very pretty photo to thank you for the nice things you said about the people in what I call our little soiree. You are correct it isn't about the contest some of us are not competing or critiquing ( Wow that ain't spelled right) at all. As a matter of fact I hope one of my CN friends wins a trip so I can harrass the heck out of them when they get home for not inviting me and my wife to go with! :)

This is truly beautiful.Sometimes life doesn't give you everyhing you like(like walking into a Mosque(for men only) but I beleive God is everywhere!

Pretty picture. I have the same color of Bougainvillea in my backyard that started as a tiny plant. I just love it. I totally agree with Nadine. I think God is everywhere!
