Great Travel Moment

The marble bust of Alexander the Great oversees all who visit the Agora. The Acropolis and the Parthenon are silently perched above the ancient marketplace. On a family trip to Greece, we spent an entire day up on the Acropolis. We took a little used path down the hillside to end up at the Agora. It was quiet and cool. We were impressed with the perfection of the columns and spent time just wandering amongst the marble elegance that the Ancient Greeks worked so well. This trip was a first trip our family had taken in many years and included my sister's and my spouses. We all got to know each other better than we had in years. My father was moved to tears seeing his Greek family come home to Greece.
