Great Travel Moment

As we departed the train from Mestre to Venice, we couldn't wait to see what awaited us in Venice. It is a beautiful piece of architecture with some"modern appointments". I am not sure that billboards are what was originally planned for the main stop in Venice, Italy. Luckily, we happened to be there for the celebration of San Marco and the local establishments were adorned to their best. Who would guess that coming from Florida, it would take a trip 1/2 way around the world to see two (2) purple alligators and a billboard for a watch to get our attention?
