The Tour Eiffel has to be one of symbols of a city that most everyone can identify. When first constructed, word has it that most Parisians hated it. Today, it is one of the most loved and admired monuments in the world. One can never tire of looking at it, from any vantage point in the City of Lights. Those in charge have changed the way they light it from time to time, but it never lacks the power to awe. This is the small residential street Rue Saint Dominique with its mini Eiffel Tower Christmas decorations hanging in the foreground as the real thing towers in the background.
