Great Travel Moment

My wife and I honeymooned at her sister's house when we wed; money was scarce, both of us just a month out of college. I promised her a trip to Hawaii for our 15th anniversary. Instead of 15 years, it took 25, so when we arrived, each moment was memorable. However, stopping in the lobby of the magnificent Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Honolulu and seeing another couple start their marriage on Waikiki Beach just outside, framed a memory AND a dream. For in this moment, I saw not just the beauty and serenity of Hawaii, the adventure of married life, and the fulfillment of one of my wife's dreams, but a new dream created then and there. I promised her that day that we would return to Hawaii and the Royal Hawaiian would not just be a place to visit for a few minutes, but a home away from home.
