"Live the Cover!" Contest: ThailandAntlers and Mountains in Taos

Great Travel Moment Last winter I visited Taos and was impressed by the beauty of its mountains, scenic panoramas and people. When I saw the Taos Pueblo people, I was surprised to find out that they still speak their native language and live as they did before the conquerors came to America. As I searched for special moments to capture with my camera, I came across these antlers that were hanging on a pole. While focusing on the subject, I saw the mountains and I just couldn't leave without a memorable shot of this panorama. This was a high point for me because I was learning about the Taos Pueblo people and their contact with nature. It also had an emotional significance for me because they have survived and are able to keep their simple lifestyle in a modern society. |
