Great Travel Moment

I love this photo: how it came out and the story behind it. In 2001, I was the victim of a horrible attack which took me away from my passion and lifelong dream: being a classical oboist. I took a few years off to refocus and a solitary trip to Paris was the final piece I needed in my quest for a self-realization and reignition of the ambition I previously had. The nighttime boat tour was beautiful and the city of Paris was in the midst of its Olympic campaign, so there were beautiful lights throughout Paris to aid with this. The time-delay effect on the photo makes it really beautiful, I think and I'll remember it always for the spiritual healing I got from the trip.
