Great Travel Moment My wife and I were recently in Bora Bora and had an opportunity to scuba and snorkel. Bora Bora is an atoll in the South Pacific. The inner massive lagoon is protected from strong ocean currents and the surrounding ocean is offers many coal reefs to its inhabitants. The marine life there is simply amazing....sharks, rays, sea turtles, eels and a wide range of colorful fish. Most impressive is the deep aqua water throughout most of the lagoon. The intense color results from the very shallow depths in many areas which is typical of atolls. This photo was taken with my digital camera which can photograph only select colors with all else black and white. I thought this interpretation would best capture our memmory of the water color and how it stood out versus everthing else in Bora Bora. In our minds...this is what we say...especially on gray rainy days. |

Sounds like you had the time of your life! Nice photo - I like the way the pure blue water stands out.
