Great Travel Moment

One day a sportscaster was describing the 2006 World Cup tournament in Germany. I'll never forget the words he used to describe this event. He said"Fiesta del Mundo"-World Party. A month later we found ourselves in Berlin. The attatched picture of Brandenburg Gate was taken the evening we arrived. Beyond these gates we were greeted by by thousands of International party goers at the World Cup Fan Fest. That evening we danced, drank, ate and celebrated with Germans, Italians, Spaniards, Portugese, French, Brazilian, Dutch, English, Argentinian, Japanese, Mexicans and people from all corners of the world. It was such a surreal, fun, exciting and euphoric experience. It was everything I want the world to be. I cannot remember another time in my life where so many people from different backgrounds celebrated as one. It truly was the World Party that sportcaster had desccribed.Martin Duran Sherman Oaks, CA
