Great Travel Moment Auckland, New Zealand, also known as City of Sails, certainly lives up to its name. It is said that one out of every five Aucklanders' owns a boat. After seeing all of the wonderful sailboats gliding across Auckland Harbor and seeing the KZ1 Challenger from the America's Cup race up close, I could no longer hold out. I had to go sailing! My sailboat cruise on Auckland Harbor was an unforgettable experience and worth every penny. I tried to capture that experience with my sailing on Auckland Harbor photo. |

Nice photo. I saw many sailboats while in Auckland. I did not get a chance to sail. Years later I bought a place in Oriental, NC. It is known as "The Sailboat Capital of NC". I have had a chance to sail there. Sailing is great.
