Great Travel Moment The Imperial Palace in Tokyo, Japan, is an awesome sight. The Palace is located on the site where the Edo Castle once was. It is surrounded by moats and imposing walls. The Palace was first constructed in 1888 shortly after the capital was moved from Kyoto to Tokyo, but destroyed during World War II. The Imperial Palace was rebuilt following the war. We were not able to tour the inside of the Palace, but it was very impressive nonetheless. |
