Great Travel Moment

The photo was taken in Marrakech, Morocco in June 2007. We spent a great day with dear friends walking through the Medina, shopping, dining at a wonderful small family run restaurant. As we were driving back to the house, we decided to take a camel ride. Well, it was just wonderful. This was the camel I road...she was sweet. I shot a close-up of her and every time I look at her, she makes me smile. What a gentle hard-working creature who's only job is to allow visitors pleasure in seeing sites and learning about life and culture in Marrakech. I call her Beauty.
