Great Travel Moment I spotted this breeding herd of elephants during my safari at Sabi Sands, South Africa. We were mere feet away from this family of elephants, and their size and proximity to our open jeep was breathtaking. Despite our absolute silence, the bull approached our car stomping and flapping his ears in a sign of aggression. It was incredible (and terrifying) to be so close to an elephant in the wild, and fortunately, they let us be! |
