Great Travel Moment My partner and I frequently travel to Provincetown, Massachusettes, on the tip of Cape Cod. We enjoy it because it is an isolated, yet welcoming, quaint and magical place. You feel as though you are visiting a place at the end of the earth. We love the architecture, hiking and biking trails, sand dunes, and ocean. On a recent trip we discovered a hiking trail we had missed on previous visits. Upon entering this forested trail we found ourselves surrounded by a variety of chirping birds. One of them, a female cardinal I believe, flew down and perched herself on a tree next to me, just long enough for me to get my perfect shot. Once she sensed I got the shot I wanted, she flew away. This photo is special to me because it instantly reminds me of one of my favorite places in the world, and it also captures most colors of the rainbow, something I didn't realize until I printed the photo. |
