Sometimes you can't help but smile at a picture, even when the subject matter won't win any beauty contests. I caught these little marine iguanas napping together in the afternoon sun while on Fernandina in the Galapagos. I couldn't get over the way the scene paralleled my own life - I had just gotten enagaged and was traveling with my new fiance, and looking at these little guys made me think of a couple growing old together, something I hope will happen in my own life. Luckily, my fiance doesn't shoot salt water out of his nose...
