Great Travel Moment

Taken in Busan, South Korea, this picture is a glimpse into the clutter of the daily fish market. I'd been on a tour of the city all day, but you never really know a place until you emmerse yourself in the everyday life, so I broke away from the group. Walking through this fish market on my own, seeing the local people chatting and bartering, earning their livlihood right there on the street, I finally got a sense of who these people were. It's an unexplainable feeling when you realize the true size of the world, and see how very different life can be on the other side of it. I'll never forget this place...or its smell for that matter.
