Great Travel Moment The camel riding business is a lucrative one in Giza. For at least a dollar (USD) for a few minutes' ride, it is a fast way to make a buck. The competition is fierce. One has to negotiate before hand or you would end up paying a lot more. They will charge you more for each photograph they take of you on a camel plus other add-ons that they could tack in. They will ask you to take their photograph and that ,too, has a charge.We learned the hard way. |

I am posting pictures for my friends to enjoy. It was a dollar to start with and then the prices went up as the camel moved! Yes, it definitely was worth every penny that I paid as I do will not go there often. Thanks for your comments.
