Great Travel Moment

Growing up, I'd always wanted to study animals, so the Galapagos Islands were a dream for me. When I finally got to go, I was truly in awe of the sheer life force on the islands, and of the inhabitants' overwhelming will to survive in a place that seemed devoid of any sort of sustainence. I happened to catch this particular tortoise as he was coming around a bend on the beach, and was literally almost knocked over by him as he made his way on the sand. His expression, like that of a wise, knowing sage, was unforgettable.
