Great Travel Moment The day before, while my husband was having a business trasaction at the bank, I took a picture of these two when they were hunched under a plant with dried leaves around them. My camera battery needed charging and my husband was done with his business transaction so I had to go. I went to the same site the next day and I was suprised to see them together again. I looked at the picture the day before and sure enough, it was the same pair. They were inseparable!Muscovy ducks are native to Mexico, North and South America but they are ,also, found in most U.S. states and in most Canadian provinces. They are not derived from the Mallard. The non-migratory species roost in trees at night but stay around lakes, swamps, and streams during the day. The muscovy duck is considered the best duck meat there is as it is not fatty and it has a unique and delicious flavor. |

Interesting commentary. I saw few of them up North in the forest, but never had a chance to take a picture. Good job!
