Great Travel Moment

Sitting in a beach chair looking out at the crystal blue ocean at the Sunset Beach bar in St. Maarten as jets come in to land just above your head. It feels as if you can just reach out and, touch the bottom of the plane as it comes over top of you. The only place I know that you can experience this sensation. This is a great location with a fun beach bar serving food, drinks and pumping island music out across the air. You can bask in the sun, go snorkeling just off the beach or, just kick back with a cold one while watching the daily flights arrive. They post the schedule on an old surfoard just outside the bar. Just don't get caught on the beach when one of the larger international flights is taking off or, the blast from the jets will knock you over and blow all your belongings out into the ocean. Even when the planes weren't coming in we had a great time talking with the locals and, having fun!
