Great Travel Moment Alysa is a Redfawnpied French Bulldog. Alysa was born in Ukraine and was exported to the U.S. She turned 1 on October 16, 2007. This was her first Thanksgiving. When we first came to our friends' house where she was visiting with her owner, she showed off her doll to everyone. However, she soon discovered that there was something more interesting than her doll: the roasted turkey. As my husband carved the turkey, Alysa got so excited that she tried to jump up to the kitchen counter. Her owner, Melissa, (a young lawyer) got worried and screamed to my husband not to give her any turkey. The guests thought that it was hilarious. Alysa followed people around and tried to manipulate them into giving her some turkey. She followed my husband and jumped on his lap thinking that she could get all the turkey she wanted on Thanksgiving. She entertained everyone. With a facial expression like hers, who would not feel sorry for her? |
