In a respite from the hot sun and the history of Ancient Egyptian ruins, the tranquility and beauty of the sights along the Nile River in Egypt provided some much needed rest. Turning back the clock to a simpler time, rural Egyptians could be seen going about their daily routines just as others had done the same for thousands of years. The natural beauty and the grace of the river highlighted the friendly people seen along the way waving to the passing boats as they swam and worked in the river in the midday sun.
