Our first night in Paris, the view from our room was unforgettable. The sunset was illuminating the Louvre, Carrousel du Louvre, and a portion of the Tuileries Garden along the Rue de Rivoli. This photo remains one of our most memorable anniversary gifts, evoking thoughts of the Louvre and all its treasures, a twilight ride on the Louvre Carrousel, and a stroll along the lamplit pathways of Tuileries Garden. Paris is the perfect place to hold hands and remember forty years of joy and life together.
