Great Travel Moment

This picture is of my only trip to Mexico. It is the beach at Cabo San Lucas. We stayed at the Riu Palace. I was there for a wedding. This place was gorgeous. I loved walking along the shore and hearing the waves. There was tremendous undertow and the sound was unforgettable. Also with Lands End as the backdrop, the pictures of the wedding were beautiful. There are two pools at the Riu. One, we called the rowdy pool and the other was for the older generation. The young people tended to enjoy the rowdy pool where the hotel staff planned games & contests. I enjoyed the other pool where I could read a book under an umbrella and jump in the uncrowded pool whenever I wanted. The town was near enough to walk to from the resort. The locals were all very friendly. It was my birthday while we were there and the entire dining area sang happy birthday to me!!
