Great Travel Moment

I never knew my grandfather who was born in Yorkshire England. On my only trip to Britain, I took this photograph of Whitby Abbey in the lovely seaside town of Whitby. England embraces its history and I was overwhelmed by the peace and beauty of this area. In less than two weeks, I learned to love both sides of England -- the excitement and pulse of 21st century London -- and the leisurely, almost luxurious (for a fast-paced American) bus ride through the Yorkshire Dales. The bus driver even made a special stop for me to see the vast, magnificent moors of Yorkshire. An unforgettable trip for me and my son and a beautiful memory for me.
