This photo was taken during a parade in Brugges, Belgium on Belgiums Veteran's Day honoring those who had fought in war. The thing that captivated all of the Americans watching...there were no young veterans. We asked a Belgian citizen standing next to us about it and she said, "Well you see...we stay out of wars!" We can only hope that one day someone will ask us the same question. Let's dream big!
