About Me
Hometown: Enid, Oklahoma
I have retired after teaching political science/international relations courses for 38 years at colleges and universities in America and abroad. I was also fortunate to spend two novice years teaching eighth graders in a Catholic school in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My wife, Kathryn, and I are moving in July 2008 to a new home in Enid, Oklahoma. We will live five miles down the road from our daughter, son-in-law, and two of our four grandchildren. Our other daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren live in Ohio. Our son-in-law has just returned from a year in Baghdad and we are grateful to have him "back home." We will visit our family and friends often and hope that they will come to visit us, too. We hope to travel to new domestic and international locales and re-visit favorite places where we joyfully lived, taught, and made life-long friends--Mullsjo, Sweden, Christchurch, New Zealand, and Uji and Osaka (Suita-shi), Japan.
