Cozumel restaurants

Sandals and shirts are about the only dress requirement in Cozumel's casual restaurants, but you can still don a sexy sundress without feeling overdone. The island remains nearly franchise-free, though the second-story McD's on the waterfront is wildly popular. Americanized fare abounds, and you can easily find a bacon and egg breakfast or barbecued ribs—often on the same menu as huevos rancheros and tacos. Chefs are importing more ingredients and wine lists are expanding, but all in all, dining is relatively uncomplicated and satisfying.
