Azulik, Tulúm, Mexico
You'll feel worlds away from the Riviera Maya tourist crush at Azulik, a secluded half-jungle, half-sea hideout near the Mayan ruins of Tulúm. The 15 thatched-roof villas, carved from local hardwoods, are sealed off from one another by dense foliage. There's no electricity (candles are lit at sunset), no restaurant, no nightlife.
